Entertaining has been a La Résidence specialty since opening our doors. Because every occasion held here is as special and unique as each of our guests, we want to personally discuss your needs and party plans with you. We provide for many events that range from rehearsal dinners and cocktail parties to business and corporate dinners. La Résidence has private dining rooms, indoor and outdoor patios and reception areas to suit your special needs. La Résidence is divided into several rooms, each one having a wide doorway that can be utilized to open or close off a particular seating area. You may reserve the front half or the back half of the restaurant inside for your private event. Also the outside patio is divided into 3 distinct areas: the Front patio seats up to 40 people for dinner or 50 for a reception. The Middle patio and Diva Deck seat up to 110 people for a dinner or 150 for a reception. The Back patio seats up to 45 people for dinner or 60 people for a reception. Each can be set off as a private space. All private spaces require a minimum charge or a room charge.

Our outside Middle and Back patios are heated and air cooled. Wedding are conveniently held on the middle patio which seats up to 160 in the auditorium format. Weddings can also be scheduled in the Front rooms (65 standing) or the Garden side of the restaurant (up to 124 standing).

La Résidence offers a wide variety of dishes designed to fit your needs. We specialize in seasonal, savory, creative-style cuisine. Our roots are classical French, but we use regional cuisines which fit the freshest local ingredients we can obtain.

Due to the fact that we custom design your individual menu based on your needs and the best seasonal ingredients, we will not be able to finalize a menu until 1-2 weeks before the event. We can discuss the main components and work with any special requests or favorite foods you may have. Your guests will have a variety of choices in appetizers, entrees, and desserts to suit everyone’s tastes. Our pastry chef can provide a special dessert or cake of your choosing. If you decide to bring your own cake or dessert, a minimal plating charge per person will be applied to your bill.

Additionally, La Résidence will work with you to design your complimentary custom printed menus or you may bring in your own printed ones.

If you choose to have background music played, La Résidence has an extensive collection of music available through our satellite connection of popular classics that are suitable for most occasions.

We will hold your party date up to one year in advance with a deposit. Deposits are due upon your booking decision or no later than 4 months in advance of the event. The deposit will be 25% of the estimated party charges and is nonrefundable within 9 months of your event. We require a final confirmation number of the guests attending 7 days in advance of the event. You will be charged for the food for this number of guests 7 days in advance and we can usually set/prepare for 10% more than the number of people confirmed. You will be charged for any additional guests over the confirmed number.

The restaurant can be booked for dinner up until 11 pm. Bookings for later times will require an additional charge. Breakfasts, brunches, and luncheons are also available upon request. Theme parties can be booked with decorations provided for an extra booking charge dependent upon the event.

La Résidence has helped plan bridal occasions for more than 25 years. We can seat up to 200 for a plated dinner using the inside and the outside of the restaurant for a wedding or reception. Receptions accommodate up to 300 people using the entire heated space. Weddings can even be held on our heated/air cooled covered garden patio which seats up to 160 guests. We have an on-site portable gazebo and lush flower-filled garden pots to complement your event. During the warmer seasons, the garden is filled with southern seasonal flowers, flowering shrubs, and tea rose vines. At La Résidence, we provide complimentary fresh flowers, white table linens, and candles for all tables for your special event. We also print complimentary menus and provide street maps from hotels and churches around the Triangle for your guests. If you have a particular color scheme for your event, we’ll work with you to find flowers and menus that will coordinate.
